Brand owners, when I tell them they need to send 3-4 emails a week:
But honestly, I don't expect them to act any differently. That's a lot of emails going to a list, and it may make brand owners think their audience will get annoyed.
Fair enough? Yes. Is it true? No.
This is not true because the more emails you send that contain actual value or content, the higher your email revenue will be.
If you send what your audience wants to see, they will eat it up. The problem with sending 3 to 4 emails a week is that they are purely promo-based.
Your audience can tell when you just want a sale. So why, as a marketer or owner, are you sending emails that just spam "promo promo promo"?
You NEED to nurture. You need to provide VALUE.
Think of your emails like social media. You aren't on your brand's Instagram straight posting, "Buy this! Best sellers! 50% off!"
No, you're posting entertaining, informative content that LEADS customers to purchase.
(Well, that's at least what you should be posting)
All in all… send more emails the right way.
